The 2000 GT Veloce, introduced in 1971, was the final and most powerful flagship of Alfa Romeo's 105/115 Series coupes: more performance and refinement without losing the character of the cars before it, plus a separate instrument cluster, a horizontal-bar grille with an outlined shield and larger tail lights. This dark red US-market car was bought new in San Leandro, California, serviced early on by Griswold & Co. of Berkeley, and restored in 2013 by noted Alfa specialists.
