BMW's First M Motorcycle: the WSBK Homologation Special

The M 1000 RR is the first motorcycle ever to wear BMW's M badge, the homologation base for its World Superbike effort. The 999cc ShiftCam four revs to 15,100 rpm and makes 212 hp, titanium conrods and two-ring forged pistons keeping it alive up there, while carbon winglets generate real downforce at speed. This example wears a full Akrapovič titanium exhaust and Ilmberger carbon bodywork and sits on a racing slick, prepared for the circuit rather than the street.
